The Bendigo and Eaglehawk Kennel Clubs Inc. organized the annual Championship dog shows at the Bendigo Showgrounds, along with Castlemaine Kennel Club. The event spanned four days from Thursday to Sunday, hosting six championship dog shows. With over 4000 entries received, including more than 1000 entries for Saturday alone, it became one of the largest dog shows in Victoria. The event also celebrated Bendigo Kennel Club's 91st anniversary. Participants praised the fantastic indoor venue, awesome judges, quick stewardship, and great prizes for winners. The show weekend was a total treat for dog enthusiasts, offering printed catalogues and excellent vendors.
