The 2024 Apiam Bendigo Cup took place on October 30, with Bendigo Racecourse buzzing as over 6,500 spectators gathered to witness one of the year’s most celebrated race events. Known for its electric atmosphere and highly competitive races, this year’s Bendigo Cup didn’t disappoint, offering an experience filled with thrilling races, elegant fashion, and community spirit. The highlight of the day was the 2400m Group 1 race featuring top international and Australian horses, including Sea King, Knight’s Choice, and Whisky On The Hill. In a fiercely competitive showdown, these elite horses raced for a share of the substantial $500,000 prize, captivating the crowd with each stride.
Apart from the racing excitement, Bendigo Jockey Club created an unforgettable day with diverse offerings, from fine food and beverages to stylish spring fashion. As the crowd celebrated race wins, some dressed to impress in elegant race day attire, showcasing Bendigo’s unique blend of country charm and high-class hospitality. Bendigo Police were on hand to ensure a safe experience for everyone, making it a day that was enjoyable and secure for all attendees.
