Spring Fair at Balgownie Estate – A Day of Vineyard Vibrance and Local Delights

Nestled just 10 minutes from the Bendigo City Centre, Balgownie Estate played host to its enchanting Spring Fair on October 15th. Known for its rich history dating back to 1972 and surrounded by lush vineyards, the estate offered a splendid showcase of the region’s finest produce, arts, and crafts. From 10 AM, attendees enjoyed a lively ambiance with market stalls brimming with local goods, from handcrafted jams by Bendigo Fine Foods to the innovative rustic art from Rustic Metal and Hanging Garden Art.

 

The estate’s Cellar Door buzzed with activity as guests sampled a selection of hand-harvested vintages. The highlight was a clearance sale featuring past vintages and bin ends, a rare opportunity for wine enthusiasts. The festival atmosphere was amplified by live music from local bands, providing the perfect soundtrack for a day of shopping, tasting, and community engagement.
