FunLoong Fun Day brought joy to Hargreaves Mall with free kids’ activities. Families enjoyed entertainment, face painting, LEGO, and much more!
Families from across Bendigo came together for FunLoong Fun Day, a free community celebration marking Children’s Week. Held on Saturday, October 19, from 11 AM to 2 PM, the event transformed Hargreaves Mall and Williamson Street into a vibrant hub of fun-filled activities for kids and families alike.
Live performances took center stage, featuring the Central Victorian Lion Team, Bollywood dancers, and a whimsical Alice in Wonderland show that captivated audiences of all ages. The day kicked off with a Welcome to Country and Didgeridoo performance, setting the tone for a day of culture and community.
Kids delighted in hands-on activities such as LEGO play by Bendigo Bricks, airbrush tattoos, animal farms, and button badge making. The Discovery Centre wowed attendees with their interactive “Science of Sound” workshops, while SisterWorks and other community organizations inspired creativity with craft and art activities.

Families loved the Lifely Chill Out Zone and engaging with the adorable animals at the pet ownership station. From skateboarding sessions to archery and a coloring competition, there was no shortage of activities to keep little ones entertained.
