The More You Know
If you’re looking for a unique way to experience Victoria’s stunning spring scenery, the Cornella Canola Walk is a must-visit. Located at the Shiraz Republic in Cornella, this vibrant walk takes you through 100 acres of brilliant yellow canola fields. Open from August to mid-September, the walk provides an incredible opportunity to immerse yourself in a 360-degree panorama of golden blooms.
The Shiraz Republic, in collaboration with Cornella Brewery, has set up a dedicated track and viewing platform to offer visitors a close-up experience without disturbing the crops. The canola fields are a crucial part of the local agriculture, so staying on the path is a must. It’s the perfect spot to take those Insta-worthy photos or capture breathtaking drone footage.
After enjoying the walk, be sure to stop by the Shiraz Republic cellar door for a refreshing drink and delicious pizza. It’s an ideal way to unwind and take in the peaceful rural atmosphere. Entry is $10 for adults, $5 for children over five, and $30 for a family pass. Tickets can be purchased at the cellar door during operating hours, but be sure to check the weather, as the walk is weather-dependent.
