The 50th anniversary of FC Eaglehawk was a night to remember as the club celebrated its storied history and the contributions of its standout players. The event, held on the 24th of August, 2024, at Crampton Painting Reserve, was a gathering of past and present members, supporters, and dignitaries who have been part of the club’s journey since its establishment in 1974.
The highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Senior Men’s and Women’s Best and Fairest awards. Mathew Schepers and Amy Skvarc-Hayes were recognized for their outstanding performances on the field and their embodiment of the club’s values of commitment and sportsmanship. Their names will be etched into the club’s legacy, with these awards bearing their names for the next 25 years.
In addition to these prestigious honors, the event featured speeches from club legends, a retrospective on the club’s history, and a special announcement regarding the renaming of the club’s major awards.
