Bendigo is alive with color this spring! Explore the famous Annual Tulip Display at Rosalind Park, wander the Village of Gnomes, and don't miss the Blooming Good Market for local treats.

Bendigo Tulips is buzzing with springtime energy, offering a vibrant mix of floral displays, family-friendly trails, and local markets. The centerpiece of this year’s Bloom Festival is the breathtaking Annual Tulip Display in Rosalind Park and the Conservatory Garden. Over 43,000 tulips have bloomed, turning the heritage streets and parkland into a sea of color. From mid-September to early October, visitors can stroll through a riot of red, pink, yellow, and purple tulips, creating a perfect backdrop for photos and outdoor fun. Alongside the tulips, the Village of Gnomes has taken up residence in Canterbury Gardens. A whimsical adventure for families and kids, the gnome trail features 12 playful characters like Blossom, the cheerful gnome, and Rue, the clever problem solver. The gnomes lead visitors on a path to the Eaglehawk Playspace, making for a fun and interactive way to enjoy the spring weather. While exploring, don’t miss the White Hills Botanical Garden, where another collection of tulips is blooming in full force.

For those who want to combine their love of flowers with a cup of coffee, the Tramways Café is a must-visit. Located in the heart of Bendigo at the historic Tramways Depot, the café has been beautifully decorated with spring blooms as part of the Bloom Festival. Step aboard a refurbished 1916 tram, where you can enjoy freshly baked scones and coffee amidst a display of vibrant flowers. It’s the perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring Bendigo’s spring offerings.

As you make your way through Bloom After Dark, don’t miss the incredible light installations that bring the heart of Bendigo to life. The Sonic Bloom at the Conservatory Gardens is a stunning, sound-responsive display that adds a whole new sensory experience to your evening stroll. Be sure to visit the Interactive Blooming Flowers along Pall Mall, where kids and adults alike can engage with colorful, illuminated flowers that respond to touch. This enchanting atmosphere makes Bloom After Dark a magical way to explore Bendigo in the spring evenings!

To top off the Bendiog Tulip experience, the Blooming Good Market is set to take place on Sunday, October 27th. Held in Sidney Myer Place, this lively market will showcase local bakers, makers, and live music, all set against a backdrop of blooming tulips. Stroll through the market while enjoying gourmet treats, sip a bloomin’ good coffee, and take home something handmade by Bendigo’s talented artisans. Pets are welcome too, so bring your furry friends along!
