On May 23, Percy and Percy café buzzed with community spirit as they hosted Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea. This event, in collaboration with Bendigo Brittle, offered a free 50g peanut brittle with every hot drink purchased between 7am and 12 noon. Patrons were encouraged to make gold coin donations, with all proceeds going to the Cancer Council to support their vital work in cancer prevention, research, and care.
Elisha and Dan, owners of Percy and Percy, expressed their gratitude for the overwhelming support from the Bendigo community. “Seeing everyone come together for such an important cause was truly heartwarming,” said Elisha. The café, known for its historic charm and modern breakfast fare, provided a cozy and welcoming setting for the event. The funds raised will contribute significantly to the Cancer Council’s efforts to create a cancer-free future.
