The Bendigo Annual Show returned in 2024, bringing excitement to the Bendigo Showgrounds. Families flocked to enjoy carnival rides, local performances, and unique attractions like Mermaidia Braids!
After years of missed celebrations, the Bendigo Annual Show returned on October 25-26, 2024, bringing Bendigo’s Showgrounds to life with vibrant attractions, rides, and community spirit! The event, organized by the Bendigo Agricultural Show Society, marked the show’s 155th anniversary. The air was filled with excitement as families, friends, and visitors from across the region gathered for two packed days of entertainment and unique local talent.
This year’s show didn’t disappoint, featuring everything from thrilling carnival rides to petting zoos and live performances. Among the crowd favorites was the Mermaidia Braids stall, where colorful braids and glitter added a whimsical touch. Many kids and even adults were seen sporting sparkly new looks, contributing to the festive atmosphere.
“The energy was incredible,” said a representative from the Bendigo Agricultural Show Society. “After the cancellations, we couldn’t be happier to see our community out enjoying this tradition again.”
