Breaking Strides Participation at the 2024 Andy Buchanan Invitational

On May 4th, 2024, the Andy Buchanan Bendigo University A.C Invitational brought together a vibrant mix of participants and spectators at Latrobe University, Edwards Road, Kennington. With races spanning from a 500m fun run to the challenging 7.6km event, there was something for everyone. This year’s highlight, the 3km Tracy Wilson Memorial race, honored a beloved community member, attracting runners of all ages.

The event saw a record number of participants, each contributing to a spirited atmosphere. “It was wonderful to see so many people come together to celebrate fitness and community,” remarked Ross Douglas, Club President. The day wrapped up with a delightful afternoon tea, fostering camaraderie and shared experiences among attendees.
